This is a list of the members of Birth Workers of Central Ohio. Members understand and agree with the intention, concepts and ideals as expressed in our MISSION STATEMENT. Members attend meetings regularly and share their input and ideas. We welcome all who are interested in labor support, post partum support and birth to join our meetings.If you are interested in interviewing any of our members, please feel free to email or call them.

Members have varying levels of experience and most are independent. Many members offer childbirth related services besides labor support, such as childbirth education (CBE), massage (LMT) and post-partum doula care (PPD). Certified doulas are indicated as such. Information regarding certification organizations and requirements can be obtained by clicking on the name of the certifying organization.

Each doula is unique. We suggest that you contact several doulas to find the one that best meets your needs. Fees are determined individually and are usually based upon experience as well as the client's ability to pay, they range from about $150 to $600. When contacting a doula, you might want to ask her some QUESTIONS, and let her know that you received her name from this website.
